Orion Counselling Service - Specialising in Anxiety and Low Mood
Hello, I'm Linda, I offer face to face, telephone and online counselling for adults, and young people aged 16 years and upwards.
Do you find yourself having unwanted thoughts that make you feel overwhelmed and anxious?
Maybe you lie awake at night and can’t stop unpleasant thoughts going round in your head?
Perhaps you notice that your heart races, your breathing becomes faster or you feel panicky?
Do you worry about your health and often think the worse?
Are you feeling like you don’t know where you belong anymore or that you don’t count?
Maybe a relationship or work difficulty is making you feel unhappy?
Do you find it difficult to enjoy the things you once used to?
These are all possible everyday signs of anxiety or low mood and you are likely feeling quite exhausted and very tired - this is my specialist area.
So how am I able to help you?
By being able to talk freely and openly in confidence to an experienced counsellor can help you understand what is lying underneath your thoughts and feelings. Clients often say that a weight has been lifted by simply being able to speak to me about their worries. You can expect a safe and confidential space to talk about whatever is bothering you, there is no judgement and you are free to talk about whatever you need to.
You may feel a little nervous about counselling and taking that first step may be a bit scary for you, this is normal, so do get in touch with any questions or to arrange your free intro call.
I aim to respond within 24 hours.

People often ask as to what the benefits of counselling are?
Research continues to show us that being able to talk to someone who listens without judgement, can help lead to a sense of relief, an ‘unburdening’. Counselling can help with working through problems, help you gain a different perspective on what is happening for you, building confidence and appreciating that there are always options for you.
